Feeling lonely in a crowd of people kind of day..
So much for an early bedtime, 4 am. Yep, 4 AM! What the heck!? I am taking half of one of my sleeping pills tonight, this is just crazy. By the grace of God, Kendall slept in until 9:30. I then got up cleaned and did laundry. Then we got ready and drove to Granbury to pick up Rob's (Rob is my boyfriend) mother, Sue or most commonly Nana. We had a good day hanging out, talked about a lot. I am so blessed to be a part of the Bryson family, they have welcomed me with open arms and accepted me graciously, I couldn't ask for more. Nana and Ashton, Rob's niece, stayed the night so we can take them to the airport in the morning. They are going to San Franscico to visit Rob's sister and niece and nephew. Kendall got in bed and fell asleep quickly, I waited for Rob to come home, he had a late night at work and I missed him. Now it's time for my sleeping pill and hopefully bed!

The joys of a tired parent :))
I didn't get much sleep last night, mostly due to my 3:30 am bedtime, at no ones fault but my own. We have had Kendall sleeping in panties now for about a week, and waking up twice a night to her crying and having to change her sheets and clothes, isn't helping any.
We got up at 8 this morning, and my ever so lovely boyfriend made me a cup of coffee (usually I make the coffee so that should tell you how tired I was). The coffee allowed me to get 3 loads of laundry done and the kitchen cleaned before 10:30.
Ahhh, nap time! One of my favorite times of day. Not only do I get to cuddle and snuggle with the love of my life, Kennie (yes, I know it's a boy name, but it fits her so perfect), but I get to catch up on sleep previously missed out on. Today she decides to take a 45 minute nap...great! A lot shorter than the 2 1/2 hour nap we are both used to. Looks like it's gonna be a long day.
After feeding Kendall lunch and bathing Molly, our 5 year old rat terrier, and a visit from our love Rob before heading back to work (he owns an air conditioning and heating business), we go to the park.
K loves the park! She likes to slide the most, but always has to swing first. Today she learned how to walk up the big slides using no hands. She is becoming such a big girl! Funny what makes me excited now as to 3 years ago. After an hour of playtime we head home, her crying of course, and make her some dinner.
All in all it was a good day, a few miss haps here and there, but when doesn't that happen with a child. She got in bed and fell asleep quickly, now time for mommy to relax and (hopefully) be in bed early tonight. We shall see what tomorrow brings.
